The First Light Collection
Relics of the journey
The First Light Charity Auction · December 2027
32 original Instax photographs. One from each of the 32 traditional counties on the island of Ireland. Each one unique, signed and dated, and made at sunrise.
When the journey is complete, the collection will be auctioned, with all proceeds donated to the two chosen homelessness charities.
AI-generated image, created following Kiana’s instructions.
Home should not be a privilege.
That is why First Light support two organisations working with people experiencing homelessness across this island:
Focus Ireland
Simon Community Northern Ireland
When the journey is complete, the photographic equipment purchased for First Light will be sold, with the proceeds going to the charities.
The net profit from the first 100 copies of the book will also be donated, alongside all proceeds from The First Light Collection charity auction.
It's a small contribution. But we can all chip in, in one way or another.
I hope you'll come with me, not only to discover this extraordinary island, but to help make sure more people have somewhere safe and warm to return to when darkness comes.
Somewhere safe and warm from which to wake up to another morning.
Hope the light finds us all.
